I have developed a 6-week laboratory assignment that utilizes data from the Qaidam Basin, China to teach students techniques of Basin Analysis.

These labs utilize recently collected sedimentological, magnetic, and geochemical data from the Qaidam Basin, China to answer questions regarding geologic and environmental changes in the Qaidam Basin over the last 5 million years.
